Sillage - Hakama Pants – Deadstock Moon Beige Two
Sillage's Hakama Pants revisit traditional Japanese trousers in a contemporary, ample, and sculptural version, a signature of the label.
This Deadstock Moon Beige Two edition is made from a rare fabric from dormant old stock, with a subtle moon beige hue and a texture with marked character.
The fabric comes from a collection of unused materials recovered from closed Japanese textile factories. For this piece, Sillage uses 1990s deadstock, created by the British house Moon for Paul Smith. These fabrics, now unobtainable, are distinguished by their expressive relief and timeless charm.
The ultra-wide cut, inspired by the traditional hakama, creates fluid movement and an airy silhouette. The elasticated waistband with drawstring, generous pleats, and the model's characteristic volume make it a piece that is both strong, comfortable, and immediately recognizable.
