Sillage - Hakama Pants – Deadstock Moon Grey One
The Hakama Pants by Sillage reinterpret traditional Japanese trousers in a contemporary, loose, and sculptural version, a signature of the label.
This Deadstock Moon Grey One edition is made from a rare fabric sourced from old dormant stocks, featuring a subtle lunar grey hue and a distinctive textured character.
The fabric comes from a collection of unused materials recovered from closed Japanese textile factories. For this piece, Sillage uses 1990s deadstock, created by the British house Moon for Paul Smith. These fabrics, now unobtainable, are distinguished by their expressive relief and timeless charm.
The ultra-wide cut, inspired by the traditional hakama, creates fluid movement and an airy silhouette. The elasticated waistband with drawcord, generous pleats, and characteristic volume of the model make it a strong, comfortable, and immediately recognizable piece.
